Melbourne CVASC in Operation on 28/04/10

Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC) in Melbourne is scheduled to commence its operation on 28th of April 2010.

Chinese ordinary visa (including tourism, visiting relatives, business, study, employment, transit, crew, journalism or residence visas) applications should be submitted to the CVASC from 28th of April, 2010. CVASC will also collect visa fees and return processed applications on behalf of the Consulate-General.

Please note that applicants holding diplomatic, service or official passport, or who are qualified to apply for the Chinese diplomatic, service, or courtesy visa, or who apply for Hong Kong SAR visa/entry permit, should still submit the application directly to the Chinese Consulate-General as usual rather than making online appointment.
